Over the years we’ve worked with our clients to affordably transform their unfinished basements into functional and entertaining areas while adding necessary bedroom, washroom & storage space. This recent project called for everything above and JRG delivered as promised.

Basement Bathroom Bliss

A family of 7 purchased a new home with an unfinished basement in the fall of 2020. Additional living space was required post haste.

Storage and more storage

Despite the challenges of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, including supply chain shortages on building materials, we managed to work efficiently and safely to complete the buildout on this project in 6 weeks just in time for Christmas holidays.

The main and upper level design is carried through into the basement to keep the theme of the home consistent.

BARTENDER BLISS

One of our primary requests comes from clients looking to develop their unfinished basement spaces for function, added space and to entertain. This project encompasses all three of these elements while also offering a sizeable additional storage area as well as a bedroom with walk-in closet space. Our favorite piece of the recreation area is the wet bar! A great place to pour a drink, prepare snacks and entertain guests gathering for ‘The Big Game’.

Serve up some Cervezas!

Stain matched cabinetry, ceramic tile floor & glass backsplash as well as quartz countertops were included to match the upper levels and create a continuous feel & flow in this 2 story home in North West Edmonton.

Wide Open Spaces!

Based off of the builder’s existing foundation foot print, we were able to maintain a sizeable open recreation area adjacent to the bar & entertaining area. A great space to hang a TV for movie watching, set-up a pull-out couch for those lazy days or for the billiards fanatic: playing some pool…
