Over the past 7 years I have employed JRG Contracting to perform many jobs ~ crown moldings and chair rails; install an electric fireplace with a mantle and brick front; changed kitchen formation and prepared the existing structure to allow for installation of granite countertops; redesigned my laundry room and finished it with white cabinets; changed locks on my doors and changed out a kitchen faucet.

Generally speaking this Company can do anything and the reasons you want to call them are:

My husband and I first met Jack in the spring of 2016. We were looking for a contractor for a bathroom renovation to be done the following winter of 2017.

We had had a recent bad experience with a contractor who disappeared mid-job, so to say we were nervous to proceed with another reno and a new contractor was an understatement!

We obtained 5 estimates and chose JRG Contracting. His quote came in midway between the highest and lowest. Jack made a very good first impression and the references we contacted spoke highly of him.

Jack has proven himself to be professional, reliable, conscientious, approachable and personable. He gives detailed written estimates and responds promptly to communications, whether by text, email, or phone.

He is very good at keeping his clients in the loop, communicating the sequence of events for the job so there would be no surprises.

The worksite was cleaned up at the end of each day and the house was protected from damage with things like floor runners and plastic sheeting.

His subcontractors seemed to be carefully chosen because they all worked to the same high standards as Jack does.

Our renovation included a full reno of the master en-suite, partial reno of the 1/2 bath and the guest bath, partial kitchen reno and partial bar reno.

The en-suite bathroom included new countertops, sinks and toilet, tile flooring with in-floor heating, glass and tile shower, free-standing bathtub, custom barn door, custom floating shelves and replacing the bathroom window. The partial renos included replacing the countertops and backsplashes, sinks and toilets. The job was on time and on budget.

We were over the moon with the final results and, to this day, still can’t believe we have such a beautiful bathroom!

Jack has completed many other smaller projects for us since then, such as replacing the garage man-door, installing LED light fixtures, sourcing and organizing the installation of our backyard spiral staircase, relocating our central vacuum canister to the garage and installing our outside security cameras.

He has also done work for other members of our family who were very pleased with the results.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have met and hired Jack in 2016 and would not hesitate in recommending him and his company!
